I'm Back!

G'day mate! How was your day? Well mine was a bit half and half, you know.  I am so glad that I am back! I haven't been blogging since me and my family have been spending some quality times and i have been spending time talking to my friends and sometimes we can talk for a loooooooonnnnnnnnnnnng time( that's just how girls are)! Also my internet have been playing up this weekends( ahhh hurry up and work internet)!

Well now it is fine and now I can finally blog something( phew).

I will try my best to blog lots this week and next term!  Blogging is really great and I am so happy that I am back!!

🇹🇴 MMT V.S. TOA SAMOA 🇼🇸!!

Malo lelei and welcome back to my blog!

You might have know that there was a BIG game on Saturday! Well if you don't know well it was pretty sure a BIG game! This BIG game was... MATE MA'A TONGA V.S. TOA SAMOA!! I was really excited to see this! I was also super, SUPER EXCITED because My Aunty, Viola( Kensington mum) and cousins( Ane, Tonnie, and Sosaia) came to watch the game! I really enjoy hanging out with tonnie( kensington) because he is very easy to talk to and he is very fun to hang out with especially as a cousin!



We all went crazy and screaming " GO TONGA!!( Especially my mum, which you do not want to watch a game with her)! Man this was the most craziest I have ever been in my life! We had so much junk foods and a lot of fizzy( which I was so happy)! The game ended and it was 38-22, Tonga had 38 and the Samoans had 22.  I was extremely happy! It was such a good game and even though samoans lost they have done a really great job catching up at the 2 half. But at the end my favourite part was when they all gathered up and did a pray and which was really good. Which reminds a quote: Humble winners, Gracious Losers!



I really enjoy that day and I know kensington really well than I used to know!

SCHOOL TOMORROW! YAY!!

Whats up guys! Welcome back to my blog! Today I can't wait for tomorrow! Why? Well, because tomorrow is... SCHOOL!! I am really excited to go to school because we get to learn new things and I get see my friends( which I miss them a lot)!!

 

One thing that I will be looking forward tomorrow is finishing up our matariki projects.  You see I have started but I haven't got a lot of done and that is something that I will be focused on during that time.  I'm a bit nervous to present it to the class( since I am by myself, for the first time) but hopefully I will finish my oral presentation in time or else...

Have you ever wondered how night and day happens?

Well you came to the right place! 4 of our wonderful leaders( Constance, Cerenity, Edith, Akanesi and Lydia) have created an oral presentation of how night and day happens.  What I mean by a Oral presentation is that instead of creating a DLO or representing it on a slide show, they were even more creative the did a video!This video will include key information,symbols and 

signs that relates to how night and day! This relates to our inquiry this term which is " Earth and beyond"!

The purpose of doing this video is since Akanesi is an ambassador( which looks really hard) had to share her learning to others and she had decided to create a video( which I think that was cool)!

Hola fellow humans! How are you today? Well I'm fine thank you! Today I was determined to do a lot of blog posts and catching up to those who have more than me( which I can do it if I set a growth mindset).

This is a task that we did not long ago but suppose to be already on our blogs.  Well, that is what I am doing right now I have completed this task ages ago(when I mean by that I only mean like 4 days ago) but I forgotten to blog it( oops!).  I would like to say thank you to cara because she remembered me to blog this and yeah thanks a lot!



Now anyways, let's get a move on shall we? As you might know( for those who are in my class or for those who visit my blogs) this term for our inquiry is " Earth and beyond"! Ms Fepuleai have taught us a lot of things for example the Phases of Moons, Solar/Lunar Eclipse, How the tides work and so on.  2 and a half weeks ago we have been studying about Gravity.  Gravity is a strong force that is created by 2 matter.  Without gravity we would have been floating in the air( wouldn't that be cool?).  



It was kind of hard to understand it but with Ms Fepuleai's  knowledge of science and all that stuff I was able to understand it!  What I really enjoy doing science with Ms Fepuleai is that we get to learn new things and do a whole lot of cool things to help us understand even better with our learning!

Malo Lelei! Welcome back to my blog! Today we had just finished Tai Chi! This is  a reflection about Tai Chi! In Tai Chi we talked about courage and being safe.  What I think that courage means to me is that it is about being brave enough to do risky things but not only that but it is also something that you are willing to do it! I have really enjoying spending time with my friends and classmates and learning new things! What I found challenging is remembering the movements( which I would like to improve on when we are going next week) and thinking of a positive comment. My next step would be is to make sure that when I am reflecting I am thinking critically!

Today is ... Tai Chi!

Ni hao and welcome back to my blog!  Today I am really excited because it is.. Tai chi!! I really enjoy doing tai chi because it helps me clams down and relaxed.  I also enjoy Tai Chi because I get to know my classmates really well.  It also helps me to build my confidence and get out of my comfort zone.  Everytime we go to Tai Chi we would always learn new moves and new things!

Tai chi has really helped me realise how the word is and it also helped me making my life better and more useful!

😭 NO TECHNOLOGY TOMORROW!! 😭

Talofa lava and greetings to you all! Welcome back readers! I was really looking forward going to technology tomorrow because I was in the part starting to create my pendant( which I was excited for) but unforturnally technology got cancel( NO)!! I really enjoy getting to know our class teacher really well like for example Mr Gordon can be funny in the same time but also strictly on work( which I think that is good).  I also enjoy having to make good connections with others and experiencing things that I haven't done before and which it hasmade me feel pearperd untilI go to college! The reason why WE WON'T be having technolnolgy tomorrow is that Tamaki College would have there exams on that day( which I would like to say Good Luck to everyone of them!) and sadly Ms Ferguson( graphics), Mr Grundy( woodwork) and Ms Tuipulotu( cooking) won't have anytime to teach us! But oh well it seems that exams tookover and now they have finally got there attention( now your happy?)! But I do hope that we will be going next week( which I am defently sure that we are)!

Getting Ready to go for Training!

Talofa Lava and greetings to you all! Welcome back to my blog! I have just finished school and now I am resting up and getting ready for my training.  You might not know but I have started Netball! I really enjoy playing netball because I get to make new friends and eve learn more about Netball! Every Mondays we have trainings at 5:30.  Then on Tuesday we have our games at 5pm.  We have won all of our games except one. I am so pumped up and really excited! I might be going for a long time so I will not be blogging!

Hello readers! Welcome back! Today I haven't done much but just blogging! Today I have decided  to do another blog commenting on someone! The person that I nominate is... Kensington! Kensington is a year 8 student and we are in the same classroom.  You might not know but kensington is my cousin! We  always have fun together but sometimes he can be annoying( just saying)! The reason why I commented on his blog is that I'm trying my best to comment on others blog and giving them feedback to help them out through their learning! Tonnie is a brave young man! He can stand up for himself and he needs noone to help him. What I like about tonnie is that he always tries his best in everything!

   Hi tonnie! It is great to see that you have learned a lot about space!This is a lot of information about space. Most of these words I have no idea what they mean! Anyways, what I think you could work on is putting it into your own words so that you can understand and even others, because I think that most of the words that you wroten down you don't even know them. Overall I think you have done a great job!

   Keep on trying!

Some tips for tonnie is that maybe next time he could explain his learning into his own words instead of just coping it for the internet.  And maybe next time he could be more creative with his bloggings!

Making Connections with Space Technologies!

Talofa Lava and welcome back to my blog!

This term we have been focusing about Earth and beyond! The Kia Manawanui have been starting on a Inquiry Investigation! We splitted into groups and the Maximum is 4 people.  The groups we chose were people you haven't work with.  In my Group I have Leilani, Cerenity and Edith!! I haven't work with these people and I am excited to get along with them!  We had to come with a topic that relates to our inquiry.  Ms Aireen had some ideas and she casted it on the T.V. The topic that we all decided to do was ... Space technologies!  We all choose to do this because we had that type of connection to it.  This was new to me and I was so excited to learn more about the technologies that they use in space!!





We did a brainstorm of what we already know about space technologies.  After that we had to find questions that we wanted to know more about our topic.  We did a lot of rejections and re-crafting them!
Here is our questions:

What is space technology?

Was space technology used differently in the past compared to the present?

Why was Space Technology created?

How do space technologies affect Earth?

How do space technologies affect space?

What would happen if space technologies were destroyed?

What other space technologies are there?

Are space technologies safe in space?

Our investigation is quite challenging and hard to find the information but we do try our best!

🏉 Joseph's Game! 🏉

Hola and greetings to you all! Welcome back to my blog! On Friday the 15th of June It was my brothers game!  He was really excited and he couldn't wait until it was his game.  But something was wrong! Joseph( my brother) he started coughing and his breathing was wheezing.  Oh no! It can't be this day! But it is okay at least he wears warm clothes and drinks a lot of water.  Around 4:30 we got dressed up since his games starts at 5:30 and we wanted to go early so that he could do some warm ups and just practice with my dad( since there wasn't any time left so yeah).  We left at 5 o'clock, here we come!!

We made it to dunkirk.  It wasn't that far so we got there a bit early then we thought.  The field was empty and it was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.  We got of the car and straight away I was freezing cold! I couldn't stop shivering! And yes I did had a jumper on but it was still cold! To keep us warm we went for a jog around the field!  Man it was so tiring( but at least I got warm)! We quickly walked back or else it starts raining and I am definitely sure that my Mum and Dad doesn't' want another child to be sick! We waited inside the car until the rain stopped.  The rain started to whereof so we ran outside! 

My brother, Joseph plays for Marist.  Marist is a rugby club down in Dunkirk. Joseph's team is called " Tigers"!They are such a good team.  They got players that are really fast(including my brother) that I couldn't catch up too them! We made it down and we meeted Joseph's team.  When I saw them most of them were new faces to me.  Then my mum explain me why they were so big is that because there was another team that joined them.  Now that make sense I was thinking to myself. They will be versing... Pt England! They seem big and tough but I know that my brother and his teammates could beat them with there speed and teamwork! The Game begin!!

Here are his 2 awards! I am so proud of you bro!

Pt England started with the ball.  It started of very well but then they knocked on the ball, so it was tigers ball.  They were all running and phil( one of joseph's teammate) ran as fast as he can that he got a TRY!! Yes I was so happy! Joseph came out of reserve when it was half time.  He blows me away! He got 3 tries and I was just so proud of him! Pt England had some great runs but the tigers were just to good for them.  It was full time and it was 8- 6.  TIGERS WON!!! Woo-Hoo!! Man I was going crazy! It was time to huddle up as a group and announcing who the players of the day! The coach was really impressed of how they play but he only had to choose 2 players."And the2players of the day goes to ... Joseph and Peter!! There was cheering and apuallsing for both of them and congrats for there winning!! There prizes was a free pass to Gravity! This was joseph's 2nd time getting chosen for the player of the day!

IALT: Reflect about my brothers game!

Camp Raglan Reflection!!

Bonjour Everybody! This is a presentation  that I have created about my time at Camp! I had so much fun at camp and I know I Have memories that I will cherish forever!! Camp has really helped me with my physical/Social well-being! You guys just wait until you go to Camp Raglan!!!!

What I found challenging doing this task is finding the photos for every slides and remembering the moments we had at camp.  What I think I could do next time to improve on is maybe not spending to much time on it making all detailed and maybe putting a bit less so that I could blog it straight away instead of blogging it the next day!
