๐ณ๐ฟ ๐ฐKiwiana/ New Zealand Geography - Pavlova๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฐ
IALA: Pavlova
Malo e lelei and greetings to you all! Welcome to my blog!
This week the Kia Manwanui Syndicate have been learning about the NZ Geography. NZ geography is all about the different types of features here in our country. To kick start our learning about this previous topic, we talked about things that are mostly known in NZ like fish n chips, fejiaos, kiwi bird, the pohutakawa tree etc.
Our task was to write 5 facts about a famous desert that is known here in NZ, Pavlova.
Pavlova:
1. The desert pavalova was named after a ballerina called Anna Pavlova, who came from russia.
2. This desert is made out of a meriunge and topped with cream and friuts.
3. Pavlova( a russian ballerina) was so famous around the world that chefs named there dishes after her . For example in America they have a ice cream called Pavlova and a dish in paris which is frogs legs 'a 'la Pavlova.
4. While her tour around NZ, she was at a hotel in wellington. The chef was inspired by her tutu and created a cake called Pavlova.
5. In 1940 the australinas discover about the idea and have invented there own.
I have really enjoyed doing this task and working collabrativley with others. I am looking foward to learn more about the New Zealand geography.
